The bane of the ship: the "MUTS" ("Movies Unders the Stars"). If only it were showing movies only under the stars - but all day long, no pool games, no calypso band - just Toy Story and Shrek.
Vegetable carving - we were just passing through on our way to the initial meeting of the Scavenger Hunt.
Steve met the captain on the first formal night.
Steve relaxing at night in the back of the ship listening to the calypso band (we found them on the third day.)
There's the band - across the way at the very back of the ship. Note the swimming pool back here, too. We ate lunch with some people on the sixth day of the cruise who had never even seen this pool.

Steve at the center atrium - people-watching.
Rex doing the same thing.
All the lushes on the ship lining up for a free sample taste of cheap, nasty rum.
Rex and Steve at the port of Costa Maya - our first time at this port and it was pretty nice.
A view from the tower at Costa Maya.
Another view from the tower.
Steve enjoying the view from the tower.
In the small town of Costa Maya.
Another view of the town.
A view of the beach from the city street.
Many pretty sights along the beach.
There's the ship in the distance.
I went snorkling with 12 women.
Here's some more.
And the final group. They all had fun kicking the coral and destroying the ecosystem.
A view from where we snorkled.

Friends of Dorothy hosted by one of the cruise staff.
More friends.
Steve and the guy from Dallas.
Another friend (lovely picture with the eyes closed.)
And his lover.
She really wasn't this angry looking all the time.
And her lover.

The couple from Austin waiting in line for the tender at Grand Caymen.
Here's where we found some of our scavenger hunt items in Grand Caymen.
Another view of the store. I'm sure you all want to know - we finished in second because we didn't read the instructions properly.

Ships in the harbor at Grand Caymen.

Our table mates: Mike and Nan.
I took a tour of the galley for the first time in all our cruising experience. The most interesting thing for me was that the last thing the waiter sees before heading out to the dining room is ice chests.
What a surprise, the elevators aren't working - again. And, of course, there are no steps in the middle of the ship.
Our tablemates bought one of the horses for the many, many, instances of horse race gambling. Sadly, they didn't win.
Our other tablemates Norma and Ed.
